Exercise 1.

First we demonstrate how the nuclei of a radioactive material are decaying, while the number of the daughter nuclei is increasing.
Enter the following values for the decay constants:

0.05
0.0
0.0
Run the simulation in single step mode, and - after a reset – also in “continuous mode”! Observe the changes in the numbers of blue and red nuclei!

Questions:
a) What does it mean that the decay constants of the red and green nuclei are 0?
b) Determine, how many steps (how much time) are needed for halving the number of the blue nuclei.
