Radioactive chains - Simulation

A decay chain consisting of four members is simulated by the software on the right.

The decay constants (decay probability) of the first three members can be entered.

The 200 initial nuclei are represented by blue circles. After decay their colour is changed to red, representing the daughter nuclei.

Daughters of the red nuclei are green, and finally the green nuclei decay to pink ones. They are stable, these do not decay anymore.

On the graph in the right the numbers of the different nuclei are plotted with corresponding colors in function of the time.
